Hi everyone! It’s time to say goodbye to my incredible adventure in Sydney, Australia. I can’t believe my time here is almost over. I’ve seen and learned so many wonderful things, and I want to share some of my final thoughts with you.

One of the first things I fell in love with were the beaches. The sand was soft and golden, and the ocean was so blue it looked like a giant sapphire. I loved watching surfers balance on the waves like it was the easiest thing in the world. I don’t think I’ll ever see beaches as beautiful as the ones in Australia.

As I spent more time here, I realized how amazing Australia’s animals are. I saw kangaroos hopping around, and they were even bigger than I imagined. Some mornings I heard kookaburras laughing in the trees, going “kook-kook-kook-ka-ka-ka,” like they were telling jokes to each other. I learned that koalas sleep around 20 hours! And wombats dig tunnels that can be over 200 feet long.

One thing that surprised me about living in Australia was the seasons. Here, the seasons are the opposite of ours. When it was warm and sunny in Sydney, it was cold back home. And when we usually get snow, people here were going swimming!
