One of the most fun things I did in Beijing was to take pictures with my friends at the king’s palace. We had a lot of fun because there are some interesting buildings, pretty rocks and nature inside. Some of these buildings were used by past Chinese emperors as homes and from where they ruled the country. There is also a really large garden that is beautifully landscaped. The best part about spending time there with my friends was being silly while taking fun pictures, rather than taking the usual photos with more formal poses. Do you like to take silly pictures too?
I was so busy on this trip that I did not read anything. I did try to read posted signs at different attractions that described the meaning and history of these places.
Before I left Shanghai, I played a game of soccer but I didn't play any games or sports in Beijing.
