How was the weather this week?:

It has rained at least one time each day this week, and sometimes two showers in one day. We are entering the rainy season in Rwanda. There are only two main seasons here-rainy and dry. There are two rainy seasons during the months of February through June and then again from October to December. The dry seasons are in between the rainy periods during the summer months of June to September and then shortly from December to February.

What animals did I see this week? :

Goats, chickens and cows! Farming is big business here in Rwanda.

What was the coolest thing I saw in nature this week?:

This week, I went to a farm just outside Kigali and I got to see lots of fruits and vegetables growing. I saw orange, banana, tree-tomato, papaya and mango trees. Have you ever seen a banana tree? View the photos to check them out!
