The weather has been nice this week. It did rain from time to time, and the days when it did rain, it was super windy! Most people do not wear shorts outside, so thankfully, it has not been too hot. But when summer starts, it gets super hot. I'm debating if I want to endure the heat to "fit in," or be the odd one out and wear shorts.
Being in Tokyo, the only animals that I have seen are dogs, cats and birds (mainly pigeons). Yesterday, I saw a cool-looking white pigeon in Ikebukuro. There are also a lot of animal cafes, but they can be expensive.
My host mom has a garden right outside her house. There are all sorts of cool plants and colorful flowers that I have never seen before, and it's a nice place to just hang out and study sometimes. However, Japanese cherry blossom season is also ending, which is too bad because the blossoms are so beautiful.
