The mountain provides more space and soil than sidewalks in the city, helping support a great variety of plant life. However, as I mentioned before, these plants exist close to urban conditions, which means they have to adapt to pollution and human presence in order to survive.
The main thing that can harm these plants and creatures is air pollution, which was especially visible from the top of the mountain. Human activity can also affect the environment, especially in popular areas like the tower where many visitors leave love locks. I believe this shows how human activity changes natural spaces, even if the impact is not directly harmful to plants. While the love locks are meaningful to visitors, they add a man-made element to an otherwise natural environment.
