Carioca Life

You can that tell family is still important to her, in the way she keeps her home full of love and care. There are family photos on the shelves, and there's a story for each photo.

How do you get around?:

Ana mostly gets around on foot, because one of the best parts of living in Copacabana is how walkable it is. She can reach almost everything she needs within a few blocks: the bakery, the market, pharmacies and cafés. When she needs to go a little farther, she takes the metro, which she says is clean, quick and easy to use. And if it’s somewhere less accessible, she’ll call an Uber. For her, getting around the city feels simple and natural.

What types of clothing do you like to wear?:

Ana’s style is simple and relaxed, perfect for Rio’s warm weather. She usually wears light dresses or loose blouses with comfortable pants. Her look is effortless but always neat. I think she has that natural sense of style where everything just works together without her having to try too hard.

What do you like to do in your free time?:

Ana loves to stay active. She plays beach volleyball and tennis whenever she can, and she enjoys spending time outdoors, especially near the ocean. On weekends, she likes to meet up with family or friends for lunch or a walk along the beach. She also loves cooking, and her kitchen always smells amazing, I love when she makes traditional Brazilian dishes. For Ana, free time is all about movement, good food and good company.

What language(s) do you speak? How do you say "Hello" in your language?:

Ana speaks Portuguese and also English.
