My Rabat Community is Strong and Supportive

She took me and my roommate, Ana, to new cities in Morocco, and in the hot summer evenings, she would take us out for ice cream. When I returned to Morocco last September, I lived with a host family in Rabat for two weeks. Fatema and her four children hosted me and my colleague, Liza, in their home. They made us food and the children told us all about their studies at the Spanish school in Rabat. The environment at their home was so interesting because Fatema spoke Arabic, French and Spanish to her children! They also tried to learn some English from us!

Morocco is a great place to meet new people. Because the culture is so hospitable, I have been able to make many communities of friends and settle into life here very well.
