I will never forget the moment I stepped off the plane at Charles De Gaulle airport in Paris, France on August 26, 2019. A time that is years ago but feels like yesterday!  My first time in Europe, traveling by myself, and in a country where I didn't speak the language! This is where my story began.

From unforgettable memories to newfound friendships, I thank Paris for the best two years of my life to date. While in France, I opened my horizons and grew so much as a person and a student. I am beyond grateful for this study-abroad experience. I am also thankful for my friends who supported me through the good and bad times I had in Paris. I am happy to have shared these moments with others. And a big thank you to all of you guys for joining me on part of my journey across France and Europe. I am so glad to have spoken with you all and hope I have inspired at least one of you to embark on your own adventures overseas!

My next challenge will be getting readjusted to life back in the United States. There are quite a few cultural differences between France and the USA that I've mentioned before, such as the different approaches to mealtimes as well as, obviously, the language. I will have to relearn some of my American ways when I return!
