Many provinces in Indonesia had sent a bus full of musicians and dancers to join in a regional arts parade. I spent sometime in a parking lot where the bus from Central Java province was stationed while some of the musicians taught me to play some notes on a gamelan, or traditional brass xylophone from their region.
