We are entering what is called the "bad weather season" here in the Azores. While the summer is the most popular time for tourists, the weather from October to March can get very windy and rainy very quickly! It can even mean it is difficult to get on or off the islands, as boats and planes can have a hard time with the weather. It hasn't been too bad yet, the week started out a little bit cloudy, but by the end of the week we got a lot of rain and dark clouds.
There are cows that live across the street from me, including a baby calf! There are also lots of chickens and cats running around. If I look closely near bushes and fences, there are little lizards too!
