The weather this week was very rainy and cloudy. Fall has definitely started in Berlin, and the sky has begun to fulfill its reputation for being very gray in the fall and winter months.
I saw many cute dogs (on and off their leashes), rats, pigeons and even a horse!
The coolest thing I saw in nature this week was a white-and-red-speckled mushroom in the Tegeler Forst. one of Berlin's forests. After my walk in the woods, I did some research and discovered that this type of mushroom is Amanita muscaria and it is called the fly agaric (or Fliegenpilz in German). It is not safe to touch or eat, so my friends and I took pictures of it from a safe distance.
