In Italy, Italian is mostly spoken, though English is not uncommon either. In Switzerland, French, Italian and German are spoken and taught, though most people know English, too. Lastly, the main language of the Netherlands is Dutch, but almost everyone can speak English really well.
In both Italy and Netherlands, people use the euro. In Switzerland, the Swiss franc is used.
In Italy and Switzerland, a bottle of water costs anywhere between 1.50 to 2.50 euros, which is about 1.72 to 2.87 U.S. dollars. Switzerland is an expensive country to live in, and I saw one bottle of water costing almost five Swiss francs, which is 5.11 U.S. dollars! Crazy!
I had cheese fondue in Switzerland! They are mostly known for their chocolate and cheese. We had two types of cheese fondue with apples, grapes, boiled potatoes and bread.
I listened to Shallow by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper from the movie "A Star is Born." I loved that movie! I highly recommend it.
