For the week and a half that I was in Italy, it barely rained and it was constantly sunny! In Geneva, Switzerland there was a bit of rain and cloudiness, but for the most part, it was sunny. But, it was very cold though--about 20 degrees! When I got back to the Netherlands on Saturday, it felt very warm at 45 degrees compared to the 20 degrees in Geneva.
I came home to my house in the Netherlands and was greeted by my roommate's cat, Zuki! He was so happy to see me. Other than that, I saw a lot of ducks and swans in Geneva.
I saw a glacier! I took a day trip from Geneva to Chamonix, France on Friday. It was about an hour away by bus and through the Alps! The mountains were snow-capped and huge. I got to see one of the many glaciers that shaped the valley and mountain ranges for thousands of years.
