I traveled to work and back last week! Not a crazy interesting week, but that's okay. Sometimes you need an open week with lots of relaxation! My vacation tired me out, so I needed time to get back into the swing of things.
I have traveled to four countries so far: Ireland, Iceland, Poland and the Netherlands. I have also traveled to many cities in the Netherlands, like The Hague, Rotterdam, Eindhoven, Haarlem and Alkmaar. Notice all those double A's!
Because of all the rain, I couldn't use my bike to get to the train station, so I had to walk. Other than that, I took the train and tram, per usual. They were a bit more crowded, though, because lots of people had the same idea.
The Tropenmuseum was really cool. The Japanese exhibit was very informative and also engaging. I feel like I have not been exposed to the Japanese culture as much as other ones, so getting a glimpse at the ancient styles of dress, their art and music and their comics was really very interesting. I love Pikachu, so it was cute to see his little face all over the comic and cartoon section of the exhibit.
