Cabbage, sweet potato, ttalk (a type of rice cake), chicken and spicy sauce are mixed together and it is eaten right from the pot or wrapped in a lettuce leaf. 

Kimbap consists of various ingredients laid on a bed of rice (밥bap) and rolled in a sheet of dried seaweed (김kim). The most common ingredients for the fillers are cheese, pork, radish, cucumber and carrots.

Is this food connected to the local environment? How?:

Everything in Korea is locally grown, and we most commonly only eat what is in season. Dakgalbi has a special connection, however, because it is the specialty dish of my area. It is what we are known for.
