I traveled about 5162.4 miles this week from Atlanta, Georgia to Paris, France. Then I traveled from Paris, France to Madrid, Spain.
I have traveled 5162.4 miles so far!
I walked around a lot! The majority of people in Spain walk everywhere, but there are some who drive or take the metro. I have walked a total of about 20 miles in two days since I have been here. I am not used to walking everywhere in the United States, so I was so exhausted when I got back to my hotel.
That's hard a hard choice to decide which spot is most interesting! I visited the Musuem of Prado, and there were so many impressive paintings by famous painters like Picasso. I also got the opportunity to go to the Palacio de Real, or Royal Palace. The Royal Palace is where the King and Queen used to live, and it was amazing! It was huge! I've never seen anything like it. There were so many rooms made of gold, and they had to block off some parts so no one could touch any belongings of the royal family. There was a really long dining table, like one you might see in the movies. It stretched to about 20 to 30 feet long, and about 30 to 40 people could have dinner there. It was unbelievable.
