The activity that was the most fun this week was going to the museo (museum) and viewing all of the cool and famous paintings! I saw some paintings from Picasso, and I'm learning a lot about how to appreciate art. They did not allow photos in the museum, but check out the Picasso paintings!
I read a lot of painting titles and descriptions in the museums. They had displays in English and Spanish, and sometimes I had to read the English translations because there were some Spanish words I did not understand.
I did not play any sports this week, but I want to find a basketball gym when I go to Valencia for class. Everyone in Spain loves soccer! It is called futbol here. American football in the United States is futbol americano, or American football. Not many Spaniards like American football. I went to a shop today and they had five floors. One floor was dedicated to only soccer shoes and clothes. I was very impressed!
