Thailand, a neighboring country to Malaysia, was the farthest that I traveled this week!
Thailand is the farthest that I have been from where I live so far. The city of Chiang Mai is in northern Thailand and is about a four-hour plane journey from where I am located now.
A popular mode of transportation in southern Thailand is to travel by boat or ferry. Because there are so many islands, the only way to get from place to place is to take a ride through the ocean. It’s awesome because you feel the wind in your face and get some amazing views of the water!
