The most fun activity this week was getting to fly back to the Netherlands. I loved being back home, but on my way back, I came through both Portland, Oregon and Washington D.C. before heading back to Amsterdam. I love the fact that traveling allows you to see so many different places and meet so many cool people. I even saw someone I know from home (Peoria, IL) at the D.C. airport. You never really realize how small of a world it is until things like that happen to you.
The Netherlands is a country in western Europe bordered by the North Sea in the north and west, Germany in the east and Belgium in the south.
