Traveler Bio

Hello! My name is Josephine, or Josie, and I'm 20 years old. I'm from a small town just south of Syracuse, New York, one of the snowiest cities in the United States! My class in high school only had 44 people in it, and now I'm living in the 5th largest city in Europe. It's way warmer here because of how close we are to the sea, and so there's almost no snow.  I'm very excited for the change, even if I'll miss my friends, family, and of course, the snow. But, because it's warm, I'll hopefully get to swim more while I'm here!

While in Spain, I want to learn more about the language and the culture (the things that make Spain one-of-a-kind). Each day I learn more about my new family and what they like to do. I like to swim, sing, dance, and draw. We do these things together. They teach me to cook, speak Spanish, about Europe, and about cultural differences. Every day we learn from each other. It is so much easier to understand our differences when I'm with them. Besides, I've always wanted to travel!
