I cannot believe that this is over. I loved being able to share with you my experiences as a foreign student (or Erasmus student as they called it here). I have had a lot of fun with y'all. I love that I was given the opportunity to be able to do this, thanks to Reach the World and Mrs. Wiedel!
Like I have said time and time again, I cannot recommend studying abroad enough! If you think this is a good fit for you, I 100% think you should do it. The experience that you are going to get is going to be unique and filled with lifelong experiences and friends. If you would like to study abroad, you can start planning it out as soon as you get into college. There are always offices or people at your institution that will be there to help you throughout the entire process. They will also make it easier for you to see if the program that you pick is going to be the best one for you.
An important issue that students face when considering their study abroad options is often the financial impact, and that can also be solved! Any scholarships or aid you receive from your host institution is transferrable to study abroad programs! You will need to work with your financial aid office at your host institution to help you with it, but from what I have heard, they are really helpful.
