I have enjoyed getting to know all of you so very much. I have heard about your pets, your vacations, your traditions, your families, you favorite books, your favorite meals, your favorite songs and your favorite dances. You have expressed your interest in learning about Botswana, your interest in learning about the people that live here and your interest in learning about the animals, bugs, and plants that grow here. I am so grateful for your energy, interest, research and teaching for the children Botswana and your own families. This information sharing is incredibly important, as it allows motswana (a person from Botswana) to appreciate Americans and vice versa. Learning and talking to people in all parts of the world makes it easier to show the compassion, care and interest that bring people together. I hope for you all is that you find future ways to meet and learn about people from other parts of the world. This can be done in many different ways that do not require you to travel. I hope that you continue to share the story of Botswana with people you may meet in the future, do projects about aspects of the culture in your future school years and maybe travel here when you get the chance.
