In Botswana, I find each day is a little different depending on what tasks I have to do. My days are very social and I tend to interact with many in this small community of 2,500 people.
I got on a plane with 15 other Peace Corps Volunteers one year ago and arrived in a world that was more welcoming, caring and inviting than I could ever have imagined.

This is my time to say goodbye to Ms. Halverson's third grade class. I have enjoyed speaking, sending articles, meeting, cooking and especially watching you interact with children from Botswana.

Botswana communities have tribal traditions that have guided them. These are based on economies of agriculture. Botswana is trying to move away from reliance on these economies to create more jobs.
