Meet Joya! A 7th Grader of Bangkok

Introduction:

I interviewed a local classmate's sister, Joya, who is currently in 7th grade at a local international school. If you have any questions or comments for Joya, I can let her know!

What do you eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner?:

For breakfast, I prefer to eat fruits or cereal. For lunch or dinner, I prefer sandwich wraps, noodles or other Thai foods such as minced pork with lime and rice.

What is your house like?:

My house has two stories, and a small garden surrounding it.

What chores do you have at home?:

I do not need to do chores, although I often beg to do some in order to get some allowance. In fact, my Auntie takes care of all the chores in the family house.

What jobs do your parents have?:

My dad is a banker at Siam Central Bank and my mom works as a freelance journalist for the Bangkok Post.

What time does school start, and what time do you go home?:

My school starts at 8:30 AM and goes on Monday through Friday. I get home by 3:30 PM.

How do you get to school? Are you allowed to go to school by yourself?:

I go by the public bus and I am allowed to go by myself.
