Current Location

My Village, Kara region, Togo

Hello! My name is Janet and I am a Peace Corps Volunteer in Togo, West Africa. I help my host community learn new things about gardening, nutrition science, and climate science!

Logbooks

As a Peace Corps Volunteer, most of my time is focused on my host village. I spend my time getting to know people, working on my projects and enjoying my hobbies. Here's a look at a normal week!

Journals

Read on for my reflection on my experience in Togo, my Peace Corps service and my journey as a traveler. I'll pass along some advice on how you can travel one day, too!

Field Notes

Individuals and cultures have beliefs about the natural world and particular creatures. During my time living abroad, I have learned about my host community's beliefs about chameleons.

Albums

Part of my job as an Agriculture Peace Corps Volunteer is to promote vegetable gardening. I want to show you my home garden and the middle school garden. I both learn and teach in these gardens!
