Again, it's not actually this week (I really only went out of Alcalá once this week, and that was just to Madrid), but Google Maps told me that I walked 96 miles in October!
Well, just to get from Raleigh, North Carolina to Madrid, Spain, I had to fly 4630 miles. And then within Spain, I've moved three times already! (It was an adventurous start to my time here.)
As you maybe can guess, I pretty exclusively walk everywhere if I can help it. I have a bus/metro pass, but I only use it if I need to go into Madrid.
As I type this, I'm also getting ready to go on a trip to one of my favorite places...the book store! So that has to take the cake for me :)
As it gets colder and colder, I am thinking I might start taking the bus to work more. We'll have to check in next time to see if I've broken down and taken the bus, or if I'm still holding out and walking everywhere.
