Fall is here in Paris, and the weather is starting to feel much colder than when I first arrived in September! The days are getting shorter, and I've started having to wear warm clothes when I go outside. One thing I've learned about living here is that the weather can change throughout the day, so it's always a good idea to bring a jacket when going outside for long periods of time.
The most common animal you can spot everywhere around Paris is the pigeon! They are everywhere: parks, plazas and busy streets. Multiple times, they have flown so close that they almost flew directly into me! Dogs are also a big part of city life here. You often see people taking them on walks. I see cats around the city as well, though not as much as dogs. Something I find really cool are shop cats! You will see cats sleeping in shops like small grocery stores around the city. Even in a big city, there are still plenty of opportunities to see animals.
