Interview with 2 Juníners

Both of their music styles fall into reggaeton, which is kind of pop/electronic music that has a distinctive latin rhythm.

What kinds of music do you listen to?:

Reggaeton is probably what they listen to the most, but also salsa and cumbia, which are both types of dance music very popular in South America. They also mentioned K-Pop as something they listen to occasionally.

What would you like to be when you grow up?:

They both aren't really sure what they want to do when they grow up but both expressed interest in being teachers.

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?:

Maya wants to go to Austria based on some beautiful photos she saw of the Alps, and Camila wants to go to South Korea for the culture, music and food.

What do you know or think about the United States?:

The first thing they said was evangelicals, which are the second most popular Christian denomination here in Peru after Catholics. They didn't know much about evangelicals per se, only that it is from the United States. They also said that it looks very nice and clean in photos and that they thought Americans talked a lot.

What questions do you have for kids in the United States?:

They mainly had questions about what school is like: how hard classes are, what homework is like, what careers are most popular, etc. They also wanted to know how you would describe the culture of the United Stats in a broad sense.
