Muli Mutya (how are you all?), I hope you have enjoyed our time in Uganda! I'm sorry I haven't taken you to see the gorillas, I'm hoping to go next Christmas.
If you have any questions, you can always send me an email and I would be happy to respond! I will be in Uganda for two more years, and I look forward to learning a lot more, seeing new animals and eating more delicious fruits.
Being in Uganda has already been one of my best experiences. Meeting new people, learning a new language, celebrating new holidays and trying new foods has taught me so much about the world and about myself.
I encourage all of you to try new things, even if they feel very different from what you are used to. After all, the United States is just one of 195 countries in the world. Across these countries, there are countless languages and cultures to explore. When you meet someone who speaks a different language or lives differently thank you, remember that your way of life may seem just as new or different to them.
I have had a lot of fun making these articles and videos for you, it has been great practice for myself! I wish you all the best and a wonderful rest of your school year!
