Going on a desert jeep safari was the best part of my week! It was fun to see all the animals, eat traditional food and hang out with my friend Miranda from Minnesota.
This week I finished the book I was reading called A Place for Us. I'm now starting a book called When Breath Becomes Air.
This week I didn't play any games or sports because I was spending time in Dubai and traveling. The closest I got to playing a game was when I was cooking with my friend Vicky. We made brownies and were trying to guess whether we could substitute cocoa powder with hot chocolate mix (since cocoa powder is expensive here). We learned that hot chocolate mix can be used in brownies, you just need to use less sugar because the hot cocoa mix has added sugar.
In Dubai I went to the Mall of the Emirates and got to see their indoor ski slope and penguins! Fun fact: People call the Mall of the Emirates "MOE". I still think MOA is the better mall of the two!
