Traveler Bio

G'day! My name is Haileigh Spencer and I'm living in beautiful Gold Coast, Australia right now. I'm studying speech therapy and health coaching. I'm excited to meet you all and share my adventures in this wild, fantastic location! I will be sharing information about this countries culture, history and beautiful wildlife.

As for me, I enjoy reading, going to concerts, spending time with my friends and learning about marine life. I lived in Germany for 8+ years and 6 years in San Diego, California. My dad is in the military so I've moved around quite a bit!

Right now, my home is in Flagstaff, Arizona, which is a small college town that is beautiful year around with four seasons near the San Francisco Peaks mountains. These mountains are sacred to the Navajo Nation Reservation and it snows every winter. Crazy, right? It snows in northern Arizona, who would've guessed?

I am half Navajo (Dine), and have been learning more about my culture and language while being at university. I decided to study for a semester in Australia since I am also interested in learning about all of the diverse cultures around the world. There is so much to see!

I love to travel so studying abroad was the perfect opportunity for me to meet new people, learn about a different culture and studies, try new foods and make new experiences. I am excited to share my journey experiences with you all!
