Hi Jefferson students! As I near the end of my time in México and the school year comes to a close, it is time to say goodbye to you all and to México. I am of course excited to return to Rockford, my family and my friends, but I will miss Todos Santos very much. I have made some great friends here that I will miss spending time with. I will also miss the vibe of the town, being able to walk everywhere I need to go and, of course, the food. Truly, the list of things I will miss is too long to write!
I am incredibly grateful that I had the opportunity to spend 10 amazing weeks here in Todos Santos. I hope it has been interesting to follow along with my time here! Hopefully, you have also been able to learn a bit more about the culture, language and environment here in Baja California Sur. If México or studying abroad are interesting to you, you might find yourself studying abroad in the future as well! There are many resources to help you fund a study abroad experience. One that I was lucky enough to receive is the Gilman Scholarship, which is a scholarship given to college students to help them complete schooling or an internship abroad. Many other scholarships exist, even for high-schoolers!
