Hi, everyone!
It’s so wild to say, but my time here in Croatia is coming to an end soon. I am very excited to go home and see my family and friends, but I’m also really going to miss my life here. I’ll miss walking through Old Town, hearing the church bells, seeing the ocean every day and experiencing all of the little moments that have made living here so special.
One of my favorite parts of this experience has actually been getting to share it with all of you. I’ve had so much fun teaching you about Croatia, answering your questions and showing you what my daily life looks like here. It has made this experience even more meaningful for me, and I hope you have enjoyed learning about a different country and culture along the way.
Studying abroad has been such an incredible opportunity, and it’s something I really hope all of you consider in the future. You get to learn in a completely new environment, meet people from all over the world and grow in ways you wouldn’t expect. I was only able to have this experience because of the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship, which helps students make studying abroad possible. There are so many opportunities out there like this, and they all start with you being curious, asking questions and going after what interests you.
