Have you ever eaten a raw lemon? I hadn’t, but during the festival I bought a whole one to eat while drinking a Coca-Cola. The sourness of the lemon tasted so yummy with the sweetness of the Coke. Initially, I was only going to buy a fresh orange, but the local vendor recommended I get a whole lemon as well, and I decided to try it with an open mind. This is something I never thought I would try, but I am so happy I did because it tasted great!

The weather patterns make lemon and orange farming prosperous, which shapes not only their economy but also their community, culture, and festivals! I am so happy I got to explore Menton and the South of France. Feeling the Mediterranean sun beam on my skin while walking along the ocean and smiling with my friends was an experience I won’t forget.
