Hello friends! I had such an amazing time studying abroad and have been so lucky to share this journey with you all. Living in Geneva was a holistically empowering experience where I learned a lot! I hope you all did too. Thank you for joining me on my journey.
In Switzerland, I learned so much both in the classroom and how to connect with people across cultural lines. For example, I became a better conversationalist because I learned how to listen and to ask good questions! I also met so many cool people. From my time at the United Nations to hanging out with my host family, the diverse and amazing people who live, work, and love in that country astounded me. This journey was not only about me, a young adult from North Carolina stepping outside of his comfort zone, but also about all the amazing people I met and connected with along the way.
When I arrived Stateside, I was so lucky to be able to share my experiences of eating chocolate, traveling, playing soccer, learning about international politics, and more with you! Thank you so much for your engagement and questions! I want you all to know you too can create such an amazing journey for yourself!
