A Kebab Shop Interview: From Kosovo to Geneva

This reminded me that while travel can feel normal for many people, it is not always simple or safe for everyone. For Naim, Geneva has been home for the last 2 decades, where he has built a stable life to work every day.

What do you do for work?:

Naim: “Kebab!”, he exclaims with excitement.

Is there anything else you would like to say to students in the United States?:

Naim: Cheeseburger, very good!

While his answer was simple, it reminded me of the small things we sometimes take for granted, and how people from diverse countries appreciate traditions in the United States, even something as simple as a cheeseburger.
