My Favorite Foods in Germany

Introduction:

Over the last month in Germany, I have tried many different kinds of food! Some foods, like bratwurst (pork sausage) and fresh bread, have been eaten here for a long time. But Germany is also home to people from many different places, so you can find food from other countries! Some foods come from nearby places like France and Austria, while others, like Döner kebab, were brought by people from Turkey. That means there are lots of different flavors to try! While in Germany, I am trying foods that are part of old traditions and some that became popular more recently.

What food did I try?:

Over the past month, I have tried several delicious foods in Germany! One of my favorites was bratwurst (pork sausage), a flavorful sausage served in a bread roll with mustard. I also ate many different kinds of bread, like Bretzel (Pretzel), from bakeries. When traveling, I typically get a cold sandwich with coffee from train stations. One of my favorite foods is Döner kebab, a sandwich made of thinly sliced meat and vegetables. Döner is a popular street food that originated in Turkey.

How did I feel when I tried it?:

I enjoy trying all these new foods! The bratwurst is very flavorful and goes great with any meal.
