What main languages are spoken here?:

Here in Argentina, the main language is Spanish. Within every province or state, people speak Spanish differently and use different words. In addition to Spanish, people also speak Guaraní pronounced (gua-rah-nee) in the northeast part of Argentina and Quechua pronounced (keh-choo-ah) in the northwestern part of Argentina. These languages are far more rare, because they are the native languages of the indigenous peoples.

What was the best meal this week?:

The best meal I had this week was the local empanadas. The empanadas here are dough stuffed with different types of meats and vegetables. Empanadas are then placed in an oven and cooked until they are light brown. There are many different types that include ham and cheese, pizza or pure vegetable. I think the best empanadas in all of Argentina are made in the city of Tucumán. They must use a special recipe to make their meat so delicious!
