For instance, one day, I took a taxi, bus, tram, subway, cable car, funicular and ferry! It makes it easy to see all of the beautiful sites when there are so many ways to get to different places.
The Hagia Sophia! It was amazing to see this famous landmark in Istanbul. The Hagia Sophia was originally a church built by the Greek-speaking Byzantine rulers, but then the Ottomans turned it into a mosque. Now, there is a person who makes the daily call to prayer for Islam from one of the minarets next to the mosque. The beautiful sound goes all over the square nearby, and there are benches to sit and eat. When I went inside the Hagia Sophia, I instantly felt special. What a feeling!
I tried a lot of Turkey's traditional foods, like cooked meats and sweets.
