I have only been living here for a few weeks, and I am still learning about customs and traditions and getting used to them. I am adapting to the custom of having a late dinner here. On Tuesday andThursdays, I have a class that does not end till 7:25 pm, so I feel grateful for the late dinner on those days!
While there are differences and similarities between the two countries, I am learning that it is very important to understand other perspectives. This helps me to build relationships and have a better understanding of the culture and community in this beautiful city.
