The weather this week was mostly cloudy with small amounts of rain throughout the day. We are at 5,000 feet above sea level, so weather is mostly cool and rainy.
This week I saw five different types of geckos, and my favorite one was red with yellow stripes! They are all over the trees around my school and I see them every day.
The coolest thing I saw in nature was on a hike to a rock named Gangilonga. This rock has huge cracks all over and when the wind goes through the cracks it makes a sound like a song! The locals believe these songs the rock sings are their old family members talking to them. From on top of the rock, you can see all of the city of Iringa, which is very green from all the large trees.
