I also had to read a paper about the economic boom in Italy, which had a lot of facts and dates that I have to memorize. Fun fact: during the economic boom, a company named Candy started making a lot of washing machines!
I did not play any sports, but I went running outside. The sun felt really nice on my face as I raced under the green and yellow trees beside the fast-flowing river.
I finally started my Italian langauge class at the university. I was really scared at first, because there were many people in the class, and some poeple already knew Italian really well. I felt better once I started talking to some other people. One person said they had been living in Italy for three whole years and was in the same class as me. This made me feel better, and I realized I just need to focus on what I can do and not worry about what other people can do, because everyone is at a different level of ability. It was fun to talk to other students and compare how they like studying abroad.
