The farthest I traveled this week was to a large city called Florence. My friends and I took a two and a half hour train ride to get there! From the city of Florence, we took another hour train to get to Pisa. Both cities were really pretty, but also very full of tourrists such as ourselves.
The farthest I traveled since arriving in Europe was during my trip to a country called North Macedonia. I went to go visit my grandma there, becuase she was trying to see if she would like this country to be the next place for her to live. North Macedonia was really cool, and I did a lot of hiking and swimming, because we were right next to a lake. Every day, we walked to the market, where we could buy vegetables straight from the farmer.
I walked everywhere, and then I took the train to get to Milan and Florence.
The most interesting place I visited was Florence. It was very different from the city that I am living in right now. The city has really pretty sculptures everywhere as well as many, many people. I felt as though I were in a river of people floating through the city. We also found interesting museums there, and we got a yummy pasta called cacio de pepe, which is cheese and pepper pasta.
