What activity was the most fun this week?:

Oulu's hockey team, Kärpät, is historically the best team in Finland and currently sits at number one in the Finnish Hockey League standings. On Wednesday, there was a game between them and Tappara, the team currently in second place. Kärpät won 2-0

What did I read this week?:

Oulu has a local library with many, many books, though most of them are in Finnish. They do have one small section for books in English, and I picked out Down and Out in Paris and London by George Orwell so I have started reading that. I have also just started my first class, "Survival Finnish," a class all about the Finnish language. Because of that class, I have been reading some very basic texts in Finnish.

What games or sports did I play this week?:

The University of Oulu has a sports hall that's open everyday and has different time slots for games. This week I went to the sports hall five times and played futsal (a version of football), volleyball and basketball.
