I traveled 2000 miles to Fiji!
Aside from my trip this weekend, I have travelled throughout many Sydney neighborhoods. I've been to the chic area of Newtown, the iconic Circular Quay, the residential Little Bay area, and the peaceful Centennial Park. This weekend I'm going on a day trip to Newcastle, which is about two hours north of Sydney.
There are a lot of public transportation options in Sydney. For example, when my friend and I went to Manly Beach, I had to take a bus, then the lightrail (like a tram), then a ferry, and then I walked. They also have some trains. This week, I also took a plane!
The most interesting place I visited this week was the Hindu temple in Fiji. I had never seen a Hindu temple before, and this one is said to be the biggest in the Pacific. They told all visitors to take their shoes off and wear coverings over their legs.
