Traveler Bio

Hello!! My name is Elijah KweKu Yeboah, but you can call me Eli. I'm a senior at UC Davis, which is near Sacramento, studying Cognitive Science, African & African American studies, and Tech Management. Originally, I'm from Accra, a city in the West African country, Ghana. I moved to Moreno Valley, Southern California, when I was 9 years old. When I first started University, I was studying pre-med, and even worked at a clinic in Sacramento. Halfway through my journey, I decided that business was a better fit for me, and made the official switch in career plans. Outside of class, I work at the UC Davis Student Startup Center, where I give workshops teaching people important information to help them create and run their own startup or business. I am also really into music and spend some of my free time organizing music events, creating fun videos with friends, and DJing. I love traveling, trying new foods, and talking to new people. I'm really looking forward to getting to know you throughout this program, and sharing my experiences abroad, and what I'm learning in Berlin about Media and culture!
