I walked over 10 kilometers (over 6.2 miles) and explored several different areas of Tokyo.
While I haven't left Tokyo yet, I feel like I've been all over the city itself! Tokyo has so many different parts of it. It's such a big city!
I mainly took the subway! Tokyo has a very extensive subway system, and you can get almost anywhere by using it. Other than that, I walked!
My friends and I went to Jimbocho, which is a neighborhood in Tokyo famous for stores that sell used, old, and rare books. We each bought a few books to read!
Subway cars in Japan have heaters built underneath the seats, so when the weather is especially cold, the train conducters can turn the heaters on and keep people warm. But sometimes, trains in Tokyo are so crowded you don't need a heater!
