Aishwarya receives homework in the form of worksheets, and she also spends time preparing for exams. The school year is divided into several terms, and there are different exams for each term, in addition to one annual exam.
After school, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Aishwarya attends extra classes for Hindi and Kannada. She does her homework between 7:00 to 8:00 PM and then eats dinner before going to sleep at 9:00 PM in preparation for her early morning wake-up at 6:00 AM! In her free time after school, she plays games like badminton with her friends.
Aishwarya's favorite famous people are Kalpana Chawla and Sunita Williams. Kalpana Chawla was an Indian-American astronaut at NASA and the first women of Indian ancestry to go to space. She died tragically when the Space Shuttle Columbia disintegrated when it re-entered Earth's atmosphere. Sunita Williams is also an Indian-American astronaut and has spent 321 days in space!
Aishwarya listens to all types of music, including Carnatic music (Indian classical music) and Bollywood music.
Aishwarya wants to be an astronaut when she grows up! Roopa told me that she often finds Aishwarya watching YouTube videos about space travel and that Aishwarya studies hard in her science classes in preparation for this dream.
