A Day in the Life of a Kid in Prague

What language do you speak at school? How do you say "Hello" in your language?:

We speak Czech at my school. You can say hello by saying "Ahoj!"

What are some common kids' names at your school?:

A lot of guys at my school are named Jakub, and a lot of girls are named Eliska or Eli for short.

What subjects do you study in school, and which one is your favorite?:

I study math, Czech, physics, science and other subjects. My favorite is Czech.

What is your homework like?:

I do not really have homework, except when I need to study for an exam or work on a project.

What do you like to do after school? Do you have a favorite sport or game?:

After school, I like to relax in my bed and play with my cat. On some days, I also have dance class, and I enjoy learning routines with my friends. I am also in a choir, and I have rehearsal every week.

Who is your favorite famous person?:

My favorite famous person is Václav Neckář. He has been in a lot of movies, including classic fairy tales, which I grew up on.

What kinds of music do you listen to?:

I listen to a lot of Czech artists! Some of them are Helena Vondráčková, Hana Zagorová, Karel Gott and Tereza Mašková.

What would you like to be when you grow up?:

I want to be a teacher when I grow up. I would love to teach Czech and work with younger kids.

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?:

I would love to visit Japan and see the older architecture and the big cities.
