This week, a large group of us took a trip to Bath, one of the most beautiful cities in England. Founded by the Romans around 60 C.E., Bath became famous for its natural hot springs and elegant Georgian architecture that still define the city today. We left early in the morning by bus and arrived around 10:00 a.m., which was a perfect time to grab some breakfast and get started with our day. The air was cool and fresh and the soft sunlight made the golden stone buildings glow. We couldn’t have picked a better day to come here, as it had been raining the previous week. Bath looked like a city built for beauty. Every corner looked as though it belonged in a painting.

We spent most of the morning walking through the city, climbing steep hills that led us to the lookout point and then to Prior Park. The walk was long and tiring. It also got very hot at times, but the view made every step worth it. Prior Park is the most beautiful park I have ever seen. It sits high above the city, surrounded by green hills and old trees that make the air smell clean and alive. The fall leaves made it even better. The leaves drifted slowly from the trees covering the ground in shades of orange and gold.
